MICHAEL JACKSON Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2001 (HQ)

Living with Michael Jackson is a documentary, in which British journalist Martin Bashir interviewed Michael Jackson over a span of 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003. It was shown first in the UK on 3 February 2003 and in the US three days later on ABC, introduced by Barbara Walters. Martin Bashir put the proposal to Jackson as a way to show the world the truth about him and make nothing off limits. Jacksons decision to make the documentary was made on the suggestion by his close friend Uri Geller. It later emerged that Geller had turned down another bid for the interview by journalist Louis Theroux. The interview was very unusual, as it had been extremely rare for Jackson to allow such access to his personal life, or to talk so freely about his traumatic childhood. Nevertheless, he did show some reserve when asked to discuss other personal issues, such as the plastic surgery he has had. Jackson felt betrayed by Bashir and complained that the film gives a distorted picture of his behaviour and conduct as a father. He claims that Bashir, in the final version of his interview, used only that material which supported Bashirs opinion of Jackson, which was not a favorable one. Jackson filed complaints with the UKs Independent Television Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Commission. Jacksons lawyers claimed in a British High Court case against Martin Bashir and Granada TV that the documentary was a breach of contract and breach of confidence. The proceedings were

Why is everyone hating on NSync? They’re people too, doing their thing (they may not be your style, but they work(ed) hard as well)… Michael had no problem with them… just enjoy Michael and his award ♥ I’m sorry, I’m just really tired of seeing people judge other people when they haven’t done anything “wrong”. There’s enough negativity in the world as it is. I’m probably going to get a few negative replies for sticking up for “love”, that’s fine, I expect it. Have a good one ♥

The King’s legacy lives on. Miss you, MJ, miss you alot.

And I agree with you. It feels like by N’Sync being the presenters of such an award , it downgraded the prestige of it. But, no offense to N’Sync though. It’s just that they were not on his level of status then and especially not now with them not even being together anymore.

  26. stonegrooved says:

@Delilah361 – Now all this couple that with the fact that several of MJ’s own employees testified under oath that they witnessed drunken minors in MJ’s presense and what have you got?

    MICHAEL JACKSON WAS GUILTY!!!

  27. stonegrooved says:

    @Delilah361 – THAT’S RIGHT!!!
Whatever shady dealings Gavin’s mother was up to long before they met MJ, the uncomfortable truth remains:
There was a double standard for Mr. Fabulous that ANYONE else would be doing jail time for!! Let’s not forget that this was good old Mikey’s second time around!!
No wonder he went downhill so fast! He knew he wouldn’t be able to keep getting “Get Out Of Jail Free” cards indefinitely! He couldn’t control his urges and decided he was better off dead!

  28. stonegrooved says:

@Delilah361 Lemme guess, your next point will be that your Mr. Wonderful was charged with “providing” them with alcohol and if they drank it while he was absent, then it isn’t his fault, right?
    WRONG!!
When he invited them inside his residence and sent their parents home, HE ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM!!
That means even if he just had to slip out back for some unknown reason, HE WAS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM!!
I repeat: When will we hold MJ responsible for….ANYTHING???

  29. stonegrooved says:

I don’t know what the laws are in Never-Never Land but I live in California! I called Child Protective Services here and asked them if I invited someone else’s child into my home, left them unsupervised and while I was gone, they drank my alcohol, who would be at fault?
They told me THE HOMEOWNER WOULD BE!!!
    Interesting, huh?
In spite of this, that starstruck jury determined that MJ was not guilty for doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING!!
Can you say “SPECIAL PRIVLEDGES FOR THE RICH??”

  30. Delilah361 says:

@stonegrooved – Not on anything. Drug free. Booze free. I am making sense and yes, according to law parents are responsible. The kid is in your house because the parents let him stay there or were unaware of where he was. Either way they are responsible for the actions of their minor children. What are YOU on to invite the spawn of Satan into your house and then decide to leave?

  31. stonegrooved says:

@Delilah361 – The judge would hold the mother responsible if I took off and left some young hellraiser that I had I had the piss poor judgment to invite inside my house and then took off and left him unsupervised??
What are you on? Does it even matter to you if what you say makes sense or not?

  32. TheInternetWarrior says:

@wiiNINTENDO1401 He certainly was. He had phone sex with a British teenager and got found out abusing 2 boys. His marriages were obviously sham to cover is gayness up. Yes Jacko was gay.

  33. Delilah361 says:

@stonegrooved – The judge would find in your favor. The parents would be held responsible for their child’s behavior by law and have to reimburse you for damages. It doesn’t matter if your Michael Jackson or Michael Vick (in which case I’d recommend the kid not bring his puppy with him.) If the child acted in that wild of a manner he is probably being raised by dysfunctional parents like the Arvizos for example. The nut never falls far from the tree.

  34. stonegrooved says:

I wonder what would happen if against my better judgment, I invited someone else’s kid over to my house to spend the night and while he was there, he trashed my guestroom and broke into my booze? Now I’m so upset about it, I’ve taken him and his mother to court! Here I am, the homeowner, outraged that after I took off and left this problem child unsupervised, he ran hogwild in my house, drank my best wine and puked on my floor!
Whom do you think the judge would find at fault?

  35. stonegrooved says:

If you guessed the homeowner…DING! DING! DING! You’d be right!! (Under normal circumstances!)
Now let’s let Mr. Perfect, Michael Jackson play along, shall we?
    BUZZZ!!
Now you’re completely wrong! Now it’s the mother’s fault for lying to the government a few years ago in order to collect food stamps she wasn’t elligible for!
WHEEE!! This is a fun game, huh??

  36. TheLadyInTheRedScarf says:

Im just amazed at him.. Well done mj… We love you

  37. wiiNINTENDO1401 says:

    @TheInternetWarrior dude mj wasnt gay

@stonegrooved we know you are, you’ve been “exposing” him for about two years, every day, every comment, every video possible. Are you Tom Sneddon?

  45. TheInternetWarrior says:

@Victim0fJacko At least Martin Bashir looks human.

  46. stonegrooved says:

Looks like we aren’t going to agree on this, doesn’t it powderpuff? You just dont what being a real man means. You know what makes a man a man? Knowing when what you’re saying is actually accomplishing something and when it’s nothing more than, “Oh yeah?? Well, fuck you!!”

If you think you’re gaining ground blasting John Lennon on a MJ video, knock yourself out. I’m gonna continue exposing MJ for the whiny coward he was.

I believe Michael. Bashir is a greedy idiot!

  49. Delilah361 says:

@stonegrooved – Sgt. Pepper was a great album and made a fortune. That’s probably why Michael Jackson bought it along with the other Beatles songs. Wouldn’t you think the Beatles would have been smart enough to see that their stuff was flying off the shelves and find a way to get the rights to their own songs? Guess not.

  50. stonegrooved says:

Only an innocent man would get busted for molesting children twice and then pay his accuser under the table to drop the charges! Only a perfect angel would invite unrelated children to spend the night in his guestroom but end up luring them into HIS bedroom instead and then conveniently slip out back as those minors got bombed on his booze! Only a law-abiding citizen would use false aliases to obtain illegal prescriptions!
    Keep telling yourselves that, Tinkerbells!
