Was the Definition of Homicide Correct?

Los Angeles County Coroner has it that Michael Jackson’s death was a case of homicide. After 2 months of waiting for the result of the forensic autopsy, it was revealed that Jackson’s case is a homicide case.
Dr. Conrad Murray
Dr. Conrad Murray will now be facing homicide and criminal charges as one of the suspects for the death of the King of Pop.
It was found out on the autopsy conducted that Michael Jackson died because of the high lethal drug levels that were administered to his body.
Michael and his Battle with Insomnia
It is a known fact that MJ is battling with insomnia. In order to get a good sleep, he needs to be sedated. On the night prior to his death,
Dr. Murray administered different sedatives to MJ in an effort to give Jackson a good sleep. However, Jackson can’t sleep still. This is the time that Murray decided to give MJ Propofol.
The doctor probably was not expecting that Propofol will react negatively with the other sedatives he administered to the King of Pop. It was too late to notice that only after minutes when Propofol was administered, Michael Jackson is no longer breathing and was diagnosed to have died of cardiac arrest.
The police authorities will surely file criminal charges against Dr. Murray. If proven guilty, he will be put into jail. It must be noted though that even if Jackson died at the hands of the doctor, it is yet to be proven that the doctor has intended to actually kill the King of Pop.
