@Cathie8791 Well, “growing (damn near) all the way up with him,” I could honestly say, that it’s not hard to believe he is gone. I miss Micheal, but the person who died I do not. It’s just how I feel, maybe strange, but true.
When I hear his 80′s songs, especially the ones during my teen years, I feel sad. Other than that, nothing at all.

Anyone can “become” a fan of an artist @ any time after they’ve “made it” to the top & there’s nothing wrong w/ that. I just feel u need to be @ least 42-45 & to have watched MJ’s progression in order to have full appreciation for all the contributions he made to the world of music, espec. to the “music video” scene, & the way he “raised the bar” in the live concert scene. He was simply the BEST! MJ was a gift fm God. RIP MJ. Geniuses are always misunderstood, & u were a one Michael. All 4 LOVE.

@AbabyThatWasntAbortd It’s not that, but it’s because the people you are referring to are people who are in a completely different generation, and they have never lived the peak of his career. They did not understand just how famous Michael Jackson was during Thriller. I grew up in the 90s, and it took me until he died to fully realize, wow, Michael Jackson really was that great. I hope we’ll have another one of him before I die. RIP MJ.
