Definitely a must have for a Michael Jackson fan. I heard the samples and I knew I had to immediately check out the CD. It is worth your money! The sound quality of the songs are extremely rich, and they are completely amazing covers of MJ’s most well known hits.
You won’t be disappointed with this CD! Guaranteed.

This tribute CD is one of the hottest things around! A brilliant and creative interpretation of MJ’s greatest hits, this CD is the perfect conversation starter and background music for social events, and is great driving music. While upholding the fidelity of an MJ composition, the artists take creative liberties to breathe new life into these songs. Stand-out cuts include “Thriller”, “Billie Jean”, “Bad” and “Beat It”.

this a very creative and enlightening take on the king of music’s songs. very expressive, very well arranged and the depth and sense of timing are all here. MJ’s great vocals and progressions where chords are concearned make for strong acoustic interpertations as this. a must have for MJ fans, real nice and on point.

Ask me if I’ve heard of guitarists Slash or Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix or Richie Havens or Orianthi Panagaris and I would answer “yes”. Then, ask me if I know what a “fret” or a “lick” is in guitar lingo and I would have to answer “no, I don’t think so”. You ask, what does this quickie of a “quiz” have to do with this review? Well, it says simply that I am an outsider when it comes to who’s who and what’s what in the realm of guitardom. However, do know that my eyes light up and my ears tingle when an album that I like finds its way into my possession.
This #1 Tribute Band sizzles! Their 10 tunes, honoring many of the classic works of Michael Jackson the King of Pop, showcase themselves very much to my liking! These are instrumental and you will readily recognize all of them, especially if you an MJ zealot, as I am. None of songs are `mavericks’… the melodies are as you know and remember them, true to MJ. Of course, on a few of the tracks the artists will stray a bit more in their interpretation, creating yet an even more unique and agreeable fusion. I see it as adding “enhancer/filler” to a covered song, the artists very own “mix” of creativity, if you will.
From beginning to end, this album is good. Imo, track #1 is the least forceful and persuasive… the guitar solo less muted and melodic… good background, but a little weak and lacking in much fullness.
But, let’s not be fooled by this minuscule shortcoming. These guitar guys aim to please… and they do. As I moved through the album, it got better and better, and by the time track 10 ended, I wiped my brow with the back of my hand, feeling a little mesmerized and eager for more!!
Track 5 rocks and you `don’t want to stop until you get enough’ of this one…sheer driving energy. Off the Wall and Working Day and Night are welcomed inclusions on this album… and, believe me, both are treated with royal creativity! On the latter, the guitar guys really showcase their talent in terms of unique improvisation. Despite the background loop on the energetic Wanna Be Starting Something, all I was able to say when it ended was “Wow”!
As for the classic Thriller, these fellows come on strong with their “jam thing” pouring on the `extra’ rhythmic fillers (didn’t know that was possible!). Even, The Man In the Mirror felt something different when he looked in the mirror… a magical kind of whirl.
This album ends on a POSITIVE note (no pun)!
All and all, this is a worthy 10 tracker. These guitar guys are movers and shakers on these MJ classics… creativity showcased beautifully. Good, full-sound background accompaniment. Good interpretative skills and techniques.
Gooooood guitar-instrumental tribute to MJ.
